EVERETT — Police continue to investigate a drive-by shooting that was reported Saturday in the 2800 block of California Street.
Investigators were called about 1:30 p.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said. They found debris from an apparent crash and evidence of gunfire. Neighbors said it sounded like the gunfire had followed the crash, and then two cars took off.
One vehicle was located. Officers were told that its occupants had been shot at. There was no apparent damage, Snell said.
Police hope to identify the second vehicle. No injuries were reported. No additional information was provided Monday.
