MUKILTEO — Angry Birds are coming to the Mukilteo Library.
Teens can be part of an event Friday where they make their own birds and pesky pigs based on the Angry Birds video game. Players of the game launch multi-colored wingless birds at pigs who have stolen the bird’s eggs.
The game is popular with library visitors, Managing Librarian Jane Crawford said.
“We’ve had lots of young people ask about it,” she said. “You’ve probably played the game on your computer or phone.”
The event is scheduled from 1 to 2 p.m. at the library located at 4675 Harbour Pointe Boulevard. All supplies needed to create a bird or a pig as well as snacks will be available at the library. There is no registration required to take part in the fun.
“It’s an alternative to Black Friday shopping,” Crawford said.
The event is supported by Friends of the Mukilteo Library.
