Kirkland rafter’s body recovered in Klickitat River

GOLDENDALE — The Klickitat County sheriff’s office says the body of a missing Kirkland rafter has been found, nearly a week after the man was last seen on the Klickitat River in southern Washington.

KPTV reported that the body of Christopher Dube, 23, was found last Friday between Fisher Hill Falls and the Columbia River.

Search and rescue volunteers had to climb down a sheer rock face to recover the body.

Dube was last seen going over the falls July 5.
