Leavenworth man wounds 2 children with shotgun

WENATCHEE — The Chelan County sheriff’s office says a heavily intoxicated Leavenworth man fired several rounds from a shotgun during an argument with a woman early Friday and hit his 2-year-old son and 11-year-old daughter.

Buckshot injuries to the children are described as minor.

KPQ reports deputies arrested 36-year-old Joshua A. Rinke for investigation of charges that include assault and domestic violence.
