MALTBY — Fire destroyed a Maltby home Friday morning.
No one was injured battling the blaze, which was reported just before 11 a.m. in the 20100 block of 43rd Avenue SE, said Janet Jaeger, Snohomish County Fire District 7 battalion chief.
Someone driving by saw flames and called 911, she said. No one was home.
Firefighters arrived to find the two-story, split-level home engulfed in flames, Jaeger said.
“It was truly fully involved on arrival,” she said. “We extinguished it pretty quickly.”
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
