LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood man accused of DUI reportedly tested at 54 times the legal limit for marijuana, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The 53-year-old was arrested on May 20 in the Lynnwood area after an hit-and-run collision farther south. Witnesses had followed the man after the crash and called 911, according to the news release. He posted bail the next day pending court hearings.
The blood test results were made public Tuesday.
In Washington the legal limit for those 21 and older to drive is measured at 5 nanograms of tetrahydrocannabinol, the active ingredient in marijuana, per milliliter of blood. The man’s test reportedly showed 270 nanograms.
Most marijuana-related DUIs, statewide and in Snohomish County, also involve alcohol.
