She is among 17 undergraduate and graduate students awarded this scholarship by the Young Singers Foundation. Good-Mojab, 15, is finishing her sophomore year at the University of Washington School of Music. She is a student of Thomas Harper, chairman of the voice division.

In March, Denna participated in Seattle Theatre Group’s training and performance program, More Music @ The Moore, singing in two concerts an excerpt of the aria, “Una voce poco fa,” from Rossini’s opera “The Barber of Seville.”. She is in rehearsal for the Seattle Opera’s August production of “Turandot.”
