SEATTLE — A man has been arrested after police say he attacked two security guards at a Seattle hospital and later kicked a police officer.
Seattle police Detective Renee Witt said the man was booked into King County Jail for investigation of assault.
Witt said the man was screaming and banging on doors at Virginia Mason Medical Center Saturday morning and refused help from two uniformed guards.
When the guards asked him to leave, he punched one of them. Police said he continued to fight and at one point grabbed a guard’s flashlight and hit her on the back of the head.
He was eventually handcuffed, and Seattle police officers arrived to take him to the police station.
Witt said he later kicked a police officer who was standing behind him and also tried to bite an officer.
