EVERETT — Police on Monday arrested a 25-year-old Everett man in connection with a May 28 shooting in a parking lot on Evergreen Way.
A 21-year-old man was seriously injured in the gunfire, police said.
Police received several calls about the shooting in the 9200 block of Evergreen Way. Witnesses told police multiple shots were fired after men in separate vehicles met in a vacant lot, police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Several witness, including the victim, identified the man whom police arrested as the suspected shooter, according to a police affidavit filed Tuesday in Everett District Court.
The suspect was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault.
The shooting victim is expected to recover, Goetz said.
