MONROE — A Snohomish man, 20, was seriously injured Tuesday while working at a Monroe industrial plant.

The incident was reported about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday at the plant at the intersection of Fryelands Boulevard SE and U.S. 2.

The man was crushed by some kind of machinery, Monroe police spokeswoman Debbie Willis said. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with neck and chest injuries.

The man remained in emergency care as of Wednesday afternoon, Willis said. His condition was not immediately available.
