SEATTLE — A Seattle Fire Department spokesman says a man who was hit by a Sound Transit light rail train late Monday afternoon in south Seattle suffered life-threatening injuries.
The man, described as being in his 50s, was rushed to Harborview Medical Center.
KOMO-TV reports he was struck by a southbound train as he tried to cross the tracks.
Central Link light rail service was temporarily interrupted.
