Man shot at Lynnwood bus stop improving

LYNNWOOD — A man shot in the back at a Lynnwood-area bus stop this week is recovering from his injuries.

The shooting happened about 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 2200 block of 148th Street SW.

The victim, 20, remained at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle on Friday, Snohomish County sheriff’s bureau chief Kevin Prentiss said.

“We are still waiting for an opportunity to speak with him,” Prentiss said.

No additional details have been released.

Detectives earlier this week said they weren’t sure if the victim knew the gunman.
