Man shot to death in Spokane parking lot

SPOKANE — A man was shot and killed overnight in the parking lot of a downtown Spokane nightclub — The Hop — where an after-hours party was held for rapper Messy Marv, who performed in Spokane Sunday as part of his “Stop the Violence” concert tour.

The Spokesman-Review reported it’s unclear if the victim had been inside The Hop.

Spokane police are looking for the killer.

Investigators processed the scene Monday in the gravel parking lot where more than a dozen orange evidence cones surrounded bullet casings.
