LYNNWOOD — A family argument apparently led to a man being stabbed Sunday afternoon and transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault about 5:30 p.m at 164th Street S.W. and 6th Avenue W.
The incident occurred during a gathering to discuss family issues. An argument escalated and one family member pulled a knife and stabbed another family member, according to the sheriff’s office.
The investigation is continuing. Five people have been detained for questioning.
