Man who failed to show up for sentencing nabbed

LYNNWOOD — Police caught up with a convicted robber Friday night just hours after he failed to show up for his sentencing.

Anwar Shakoor-Asadi, 27, was arrested in Lynnwood and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on warrants, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

Shakoor-Asadi was due to be sentenced Thursday after pleading guilty to two counts of first-degree robbery earlier this year.

Police asked the community for help finding him after he was a no-show.
