Man’s body found in Skykomish River

The body of a man believed to be a person who went missing last week was found Saturday evening along the Skykomish River near Sunset Falls.

A woman reported spotting the body around 6 p.m. Saturday and contacted the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and search and rescue team members worked to recover the body. No information was available Sunday on the name of the man. It is not believed to be a suspicious death.
