MARYSVILLE — Officers blocked streets when a man ran from them across from the Marysville police station Thursday morning.
Detectives had been investigating the man as a suspected drug dealer for weeks, said Cmdr. Mark Thomas. They were watching his home when he got into his Cadillac Escalade to leave around 10 a.m. An officer tried to pull him over. He ran back into the house. Eventually he was taken into custody.
The street was shut down for about a half-hour, right by the police station on 43rd Ave NE.
Officers had been preparing to serve a warrant on the home. They were executing that warrant Thursday, and getting another warrant for the car.
Police arrested a woman in the home for investigation of possessing drug paraphernalia.
