Meet candidates for Edmonds council, school board and port

EDMONDS — The city’s Chamber of Commerce will present its candidates forum from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Edmonds City Council Chambers in the Public Safety Complex, located at 250 Fifth Ave. N. in downtown Edmonds.

Doors open at 6 p.m. for a meet and greet with the candidates.

The forum is presented by the chamber’s economic development committee, which focuses on business issues and economic vitality for the Greater Edmonds community.

Everyone is welcome.

Candidates invited are running for the Edmonds City Council, Edmonds School Board and Port Commission. The format is a question-and-answer program. Each candidate will be given time for an opening and closing statement.

For those unable to attend the night of the event, the forum will be broadcast live on the public access channels of Comcast (Channel 21) and and Frontier/Fios (Channel 39.)
