EVERETT — A Mill Creek woman has been cited for allegedly causing a seven-car pileup south of Everett in early October.
The chain-reaction happened about 6 p.m. Oct. 5 on 128th Street SW near Fourth Avenue, officials said. The wreck sent nine people to the hospital with minor injuries. Three of those hurt were children.
The woman was driving westbound while wearing an orthopedic boot on her left foot, officials said Wednesday. The boot got tangled in the brake pedal, and she couldn’t stop.
The woman has since received a ticket for second-degree negligent driving, an infraction* that carries a $550 fine.
