SNOHOMISH — An 18-year-old Monroe woman was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on Tuesday for investigation of first-degree assault after allegedly stabbing a man in the back with a steak knife.
A sheriff’s deputy Monday night arrived at the home in the 15400 block of 228th St. SE in unincorporated Snohomish County and found a 19-year-old man sitting on the front porch with a knife sticking out of his back near his right shoulder.
He was listed in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle Tuesday.
He had a collapsed lung, according to a police report.
The man told the deputy that the woman allegedly boasted that she could “back flip off anything” and he challenged her to do a flip off the back porch.
He said she became combative.
When he sat in a chair, she allegedly walked up behind him and thrust a knife into his back and fled out the front door.
Bail was set at $50,000 Tuesday.
