Naked driver believed to be involved with Lynnwood break-ins

LYNNWOOD – Police say a man found naked and unconscious following a rollover accident along I-5 Saturday morning is thought to have been involved with several break-ins in Lynnwood.

The man’s car left the roadway about 5 a.m. in the Northgate area of Seattle, Washington State Patrol trooper Karim Boukabou said. The driver, in his 20s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

Lynnwood police are investigating the break-ins, which occurred at several businesses in the 18900 block of Highway 99.

Police aren’t sure exactly when the break-ins occurred, saying it could have been either late Friday night or in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Keys to a car owned by one of the businesses were discovered by the burglar. He loaded up stolen merchandise from one of the businesses and drove off. The man involved in the collision was taken into custody, police said.
