SPOKANE — No one was injured in a four-alarm fire at an apartment building in Spokane.

The fire apparently started in the attic Tuesday afternoon at the Chico apartments in the lower South Hill neighborhood. About 75 firefighters battled the blaze.

KXLY reported that 12 units were damaged. Several apartments were destroyed by the fire and the rest have water damage.

The Red Cross is helping about two-dozen displaced residents.
