MARYSVILLE — No injuries were reported after a fire Friday at the Cedar Home Apartments along Grove Street.
The fire started about 4:50 p.m. One apartment was destroyed and two others damaged, said Christie Veley, spokeswoman for the Marysville Fire District.
At least five people were displaced. One of the homes did not have working batteries in the smoke alarms. Smoke alarms are essential to save lives, Veley said.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
