Arlington: Food bank has new home
The Arlington Community Food Bank has moved to the Arlington Airport and is open for services today at 18810 59th Drive NE, just east of the intersection of 188th Street and 59th Avenue.
The hours remain the same, 1 to 2 p.m. Fridays and 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays.
Donations can be dropped off during these times.

Darrington: Boy Scouts collect food
Newly formed Darrington Boy Scout Troop 47 is conducting a food and paper products drive through Dec. 20 to benefit area food banks.
Donations can be dropped off at the IGA grocery, Coastal Community Bank, Bank of America and Cascade Senior Center.
The troop also offers Christmas tree pick-up and recycling Jan. 1 within the Darrington city limits.

Teen event Friday includes food, prizes
Teen Night in Darrington is from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday in the elementary school gym.
Movies, loud music, food, games and prizes are planned.
Granite Falls: School office plans move
The Granite Falls School District administration office is set to move Dec. 15 to 205 N. Alder Ave.
The office houses the superintendent, communications office, business and operations, and the special services department.
The Granite Falls School board of directors also will meet at the new location.
The administration office will share space with Crossroads Alternative High School. The school is located in the north side of the building and the office will be in the south end of the building.
The move completes the facility plan that included moving the middle school to the old high school and Crossroads Alternative High School to the old middle school.
The two schools moved to their new locations in September.
Marysville: Defensive driving class offered
The Ken Baxter Community Center is taking registrations for a defensive driving course for adults age 55 and older.
The cost of the course is $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers.
The two-day course is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Marysville Fire Station 66.
The station is located at 7217 40th Street NE.
