OLYMPIA — Employees at Olympia’s Timberland Library hope the complaints about heroin use in their restrooms stop after police raided a suspected drug house right behind the library.
The Olympian reported that police arrested six people at the house Thursday night.
Library Manager Donna Feddern said library staff had contacted police after recent complaints from patrons about intravenous drug use in the restrooms. She said library workers were having to check both the restrooms and the parking lot for dirty needles.
