Oregon Christian college student leader is atheist

EUGENE, Ore. — The student body president of Northwest Christian University in Eugene “came out” last week as an atheist.

In an article in the university’s online newspaper, 21-year-old Eric Fromm said “I don’t have to hide anymore.”

The Register-Guard reported Fromm said he still respects others on the 600-student campus for their faith.
