ABERDEEN — Grays Harbor sheriff’s detectives and Hoquiam police were serving arrest warrants on a couple Thursday near Moclips when the woman’s pit bull attacked a Hoquiam officer, and the officer shot the dog.
It was taken to an Aberdeen veterinary clinic with a serious wound.
KXRO reported that the dog had been declared potentially dangerous after complaints in 2009 and 2010 in Hoquiam.
