Police investigate death of man found in SUV

EVERETT — Police are investigating after a man was found dead in his sport utility vehicle on Friday night in the parking lot at the Fred Meyer at Evergreen Way and E. Casino Road.

Passersby saw the man and called 911 about 11 p.m., Everett police officer Aaron Snell said.

Two officers arrived and found the man not breathing and without a pulse. Resuscitation efforts were not successful.

The man’s body was taken to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine his identification and cause of death.

Officers impounded drug paraphernalia found in the car, Snell said.
