EDMONDS — Edmonds police are investigating allegations that a volunteer at Westgate Chapel in Edmonds was engaged in voyeurism involving fellow churchgoers.

A member of the congregation and a church official contacted police Jan. 5 to report the allegations.

The victims range in age from children to adults, Edmonds police Sgt. Don Anderson said. The investigation hasn’t turned up any incidents of sexual assault, he said.

The suspect was suspended from any activities at the church, Anderson said. He has not been arrested and the case remains under investigation. Anderson declined to provide any additional details.
