LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood man was arrested after he reportedly threatened a couple and demanded money from them Monday night.
The man, 38, pounded on a door at an apartment complex on 156th Street SW north of Lynnwood, said Shari Ireton, a spokeswoman with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
He allegedly asked for money and “property,” Ireton said.
A woman called 911 around 8:30 p.m. Deputies were told the suspect had visited the apartment before to buy drugs, Ireton said.
When police arrived, the suspect jumped out the back of the apartment building.
Deputies found drugs inside the apartment.
The suspect was arrested for investigation of violating the terms of his probation.
