Police release sketch of Edmonds robbery suspect

EDMONDS — Police on Tuesday released a sketch of the suspect in the May 29 armed robbery at the Tropical Tan business at 9722 Edmonds Way.

Detectives say the man entered the business about 8:30 a.m., showed a handgun and demanded money. He left in a small, white car and drove toward 97th Avenue W. No injuries were reported.

The man is suspected in similar crimes in neighboring cities as well, according to Edmonds police.

The robber is described as white, in his late teens and about 5-foot-11 with a medium build. He had short blond hair and wore a red baseball hat, a red plaid, short-sleeve button-down shirt and blue jeans. He was described as clean-cut.

Anyone with information should call 425-771-0212.
