ARLINGTON — Police are searching for three suspects believed to be involved in a residential burglary.

A woman was returning home from taking her child to school at about 9:30 a.m. Friday when she saw three teenage boys leaving her backyard through a gate. When the woman entered her home in the 4900 block of 199th St. NE, she discovered that electronic equipment and jewelry was missing. Police believe that the suspects entered the home through an unlocked window.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, Marysville Police Department, and Lynnwood Police Department K-9 Unit helped search for the three suspects but they were not found. A neighbor later reported to officers that they had seen a suspicious vehicle that was occupied by three people just prior to the burglary. The vehicle was described as a silver Toyota-type hatchback.

Arlington police officers developed a sketch of one the suspects described as a Hispanic or dark-skinned male, approximately 16-18 years of age, with short, spiky black hair and a large diamond earring in one of his ears. He was wearing a big black coat and baggy jeans.

The second suspect was described as white and wearing a big coat. The third suspect was white wearing jeans and a light-colored coat. All three suspects were wearing backpacks.
