Police seek Lynnwood robbery suspect

LYNNWOOD — The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is looking for help identifying a robbery suspect.

Deputies said a young man attempted to shoplift items from a WalMart store at 1400 164th St. SW, Lynnwood on Oct. 17.

When he was confronted by store security, the suspect allegedly assaulted the security officer while fleeing from the store, said Kevin Prentiss, sheriff’s office bureau chief.

The suspect is described as being in his late teens to early 20s, 5 foot 10 inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds. He has brown hair and glasses. The suspect was wearing a black shirt, black and gray plaid coat, and blue jeans.
