MARYSVILLE — Marysville police are looking for a man after a shooting that happened shortly after midnight Sunday.
A 25-year-old Kent man was found shot in the stomach at about 12:45 a.m. in the parking lot of a restaurant in the 200 block of Second Street in Marysville.
Police investigators are trying to learn the whereabouts of the man they believe might be responsible for the shooting.
The victim was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. He has been released from the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery, said Marysville police spokesman Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux.
According to witnesses to the shooting, the male subject is known by the name “Antwan Henry,” though witnesses are not sure of the spelling of the name.
He is said to have recently moved to the area from California. On the night of the shooting, he was with his girlfriend “Sadie,” a woman of Hawaiian or Polynesian decent who reportedly lives in the south Everett area, Lamoureux said.
“Antwan Henry” is about 6-feet or 6-feet-2-inches tall and has a stocky, muscular build. At the time of the shooting he was driving a large SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition, which was dark blue or black.
Multiple shots were fired; the victim was struck once, Lamoureux said.
Bullets also struck three vehicles parked in the area, as well as two houses in the neighborhood. Details as to what led to the shooting are being investigated.
Marysville police are asking for help in positively identifying and locating “Antwan Henry.” The man should be considered armed and dangerous, and people are asked not to attempt to contact or stop him, but to simply call 911 or Marysville detectives at 360-363-8300.
