Police warn of sex offender living in Sultan

SULTAN — Police are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender who will be living in the 300 block of Eighth Street in Sultan.

Russell John Sturm, 43, is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to reoffend.

He pleaded guilty in Snohomish County in 1999 to second-degree rape, unlawful imprisonment and intimidating a witness.

Sturm is described as 6-foot and 230 pounds. He has red hair and blue eyes.
