The future of new additions to the North Creek Trail in south Snohomish County is the subject of three public meetings this month.

The first meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lynnwood High School, 18218 North Road, Bothell.

North Creek Trail is being planned as a regional multi- purpose, shared-use path that will eventually connect the regional Sammamish River Trail/Burke–Gilman Trail in King County with Snohomish County’s Regional Interurban Trail at McCollum Park in Everett.

Design of the Snohomish County portion of the trail, which includes route selection and purchase of right-of-way, is expected to be completed in 2013.

Other meetings are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Crystal Springs Elementary School, 21615 Ninth Ave. SE, Bothell; and June 23 at Mill Creek City Hall Council Chambers, 15728 Main St.
