I’m always plugging the classes – especially the free ones – because you’ll learn faster if you expose yourself to new ideas, techniques and experts. A perfect opportunity is coming next week. The Arlington Garden Club is sponsoring a class called “Putting Your Garden to Bed” 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Nov. 10.
Great bunch of gardeners. Great idea for a class. Horticulturist Michelle Clark will lead the class on what needs to be done now so the garden is in peak condition next summer. She’ll also be talking about how to start a new bed so it will be ready for planting next spring.
The class is held at the Boys and Girls Club 18513 59th Ave., NE, Arlington. It’s free but the garden club is requesting $2 donations. For more information, you may call Linda at 360-403-7769.
