Rollover crash near Monroe puts 2 in hospital

MONROE — Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a one-car rollover collision along Highway 522 south of Monroe.

It happened just after 10 p.m. about six miles out of town, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

A 46-year-old Snohomish man was eastbound in a gray 2004 Jeep Cherokee. His passenger was a 52-year-old Snohomish woman.

The Jeep left the roadway, struck a tree and rolled over. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
