Mr. and Mrs. Gus Anderson of Everett left Wednesday afternoon by train for New York City, the first lap of a journey to Scandinavian countries. They would then sail from New York for Sweden for a seven-month visit with relatives and friends.
25 years ago (1983)
Everett Theater manager Tim Donovan believed there was a renewed awareness by the public about the country’s safety. To enhance national pride, he was playing the national anthem before each feature film in the main auditorium.
Air Force Airman 1st class Nicholas A. Turner of Arlington had graduated from the Air Force dental assistant course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas.
