Care Medical, at 1301 Hewitt Ave., advertised the Pacer, a motorized cart for personal mobility. It had rugged outdoor construction and design, and gave the rider a comfortable shock-absorbing ride. Care Medical offered home demonstrations.
The City Council in Marysville approved some more street name changes to help avoid confusion. Grove Street was the official name of the east-west road from Ash Avenue to the east city limits. Alder Avenue remained Alder south of Grove, but would be called 43rd Avenue NE north of Grove. The road that curved around Jennings Park from 47th Avenue NE up to Grove Street would be known as Armar Road.
