Everett Rock and Gem Club was to hold its regular meeting Monday at the Legion Park Community Center. A special program was planned by George Ford and Ruth Maxwell to teach members how to display wares at its annual rock show in May.
Mr. and Mrs. Kern Stockton of Snohomish returned after spending three months in Palm Springs, Calif. Their daughter, Maj. Alice Stockton, left Monday for a two-week vacation in Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
25 years ago (1988)
Pioneer Trails, a residential community, was having its grand opening April 9 on 142 acres southeast of Silver Lake. A total of 315 lots would be developed by 15 builders. The development was owned by Pioneer Properties, a division of Pioneer First Federal Savings Bank.
GTE Directories Service Corp., signed a long-term office lease for 45,000 square feet in Phase III of the Everett Mall Office Park, which was to open this month. The company also had signed another long-term lease for 20,000 square feet in a new office in Lynnwood.
