Sex offender warning issued in Monroe

MONROE — Police are warning neighbors about a convicted sex offender in the Monroe area.

Roy Andrew Alcorn, 42, will be living in the 22900 block of 105th Street SE, about four miles north of town. He is a Level 3 offender, the level deemed most likely to re-offend.

Alcorn was convicted in 2007 of third-degree child molestation in Snohomish County.

Alcorn is described as white, about 6-foot and 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.
