EVERETT — A team of Snohomish County firefighters was headed to southern California on Friday to help rein in six fast-moving wildfires.
More than 158,000 acres had burned as of Friday morning, according to the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
Firefighters from Snohomish County Fire District 26 in Gold Bar, Getchell Fire and Fire District 7 were deployed. They expect to be gone for 18 days.
