SPOKANE — One of Spokane’s largest tow companies has had its license revoked for the way it hauled away dozens of cars during last June’s Hoopfest.
KXLY-TV reported the state Department of Licensing also fined Evergreen State Towing $38,000.
The company declined to comment on the revocation. Evergreen State has 10 days to respond to the department.
State law requires property owners to be present at a towing and for the tow company to advise car owners they can contest fees in court.
