Spokane Valley bikini baristas ordinance ready

SPOKANE VALLEY — The Spokane Valley City Council is ready to approve a public exposure ordinance that details the body parts bikini baristas should cover up.

The council is being pushed to act by members of the Coalition for Community Values who have been complaining about nearly nude servers at espresso stands.

KREM-TV reported one of the details in the ordinance says body paint does not count as covering.

Council members indicated their approval of the ordinance Tuesday. It could be voted into law at the Nov. 26 meeting.
