Standoff ends with man’s arrest in Marysville

MARYSVILLE — A brief SWAT standoff ended Thursday morning when a burglary suspect was arrested at a Marysville home.

The Snohomish County Regional SWAT team served a warrant on a home in the 6800 block of 51st Avenue NE around 9 a.m. Thursday.

The suspect, a 52-year-old man, was then taken into custody.

He was treated for minor injuries at a local hospital before being booked into the Snohomish County Jail, sheriff’s office spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
