Stevens Pass avalanche subject of New York Times article

We felt inclined to post this item of interest, as it is so close to home but the article was run in the New York Times.

Many thanks to Dr. David Cameron for his input on today’s newsletter.

He pointed out that the New York Times published an article about last year’s fatal avalanche at Stevens Pass.

The article is worth reading for sure. See it at this link.

Our own Sean “Rib” Horst was deeply involved with the rescue efforts and lost a good friend in the avalanche.
