Sultan-area man killed in one-car accident on Mann Road

SULTAN — A Sultan-area man died Thursday afternoon after his car crashed into a tree off Mann Road, southeast of the city.

The wreck was reported just before 4:30 p.m. in the 30000 block of the road, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

The man was believed to be in his 60s, officials said. His identity wasn’t available on Thursday. No one else was believed to be in the car.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
