Suspect arrested in stabbing on Whidbey Island

CLINTON — An Island County stabbing suspect turned himself in on Monday afternoon.

Detectives on Monday morning issued a press release asking for help tracking down the suspect. Hours later, Karmen Adams, 21, surrendered to authorities.

He’s accused of stabbing a man, 34, after an altercation at an apartment complex off Wilson Road in Clinton, Island County detective Ed Wallace said.

The victim, who was stabbed multiple times, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. He was listed in stable condition Monday.
