Suspect in two Arlington burglaries arrested

ARLINGTON — A Marysville man has been arrested for investigation of burglary in connection with break-ins at Arlington businesses.

The man was spotted by police carrying a bag over the weekend. He was stopped but not arrested, police said.

When police learned of burglaries in the 6200 block of 172nd St. NE and in the 17800 block of 59th Street, they tracked the man down.

The man reportedly admitted stealing two handguns, jewelry, precious metals and cash.

He’d allegedly sold some of his loot to buy drugs, police said.
